HomeAcre Homesteading Blog Hop 6/5 – Top 100+ Posts!

It's that time of the week 🙂 I love to see the different posts that are submitted to the blog hop each week. Last week we had 111 (a little lower than normal because of SUMMER, Yeah!!). Still more than enough to find a few for everybody. Find something to inspire you this week!

My Weekly Update

We had our first full week of summer (my oldest was out of school a couple of weeks ago, but it always takes a couple days to really start the summer schedule). We went to the International Wildlife Museum, started swimming lessons, and karate started up again! I think my summer's are busier than the school year, but they are oh so fun! I have so many projects planned for this summer. I am letting the kids pick the projects out and so far they have chosen a free play lego afternoon and we made some animals ouSo, t of foam sheets.

The boys are both pretty close to getting a reading prize already. My oldest found Harry Potter and hasn't been able to set it down! He finished the first and is getting into the second (just over halfway through the second). I haven't decided where I will make him stop. He will probably have to wait until he is a little older before we start to tackle some of the darker subject matter in the later books. The first big character dies at the end of the third so I might stop him after book two. He has a ton of books on his list this summer so there won't be a lack of reading material! My second kiddo is learning to read. He is getting three letter words pretty good now.

The Featured Post

So, summer inspiration, this weeks featured post is from Gentle Joy Photography. She did a series of photographs of a bunny taking a bath that are adorable. It relaxed me just to look at them. Be sure to stop by her page and congratulate her for being featured! She really has some beautiful photographs on her site.
