Welcome to the about me page of Pint Size Farm! My name is Heidi and I have been a blogger since 2006. Pint Size Farm started in January of 2014 when we moved to Arizona. Before that we lived in Missouri and Kansas. Plus, I grew up in Illinois!
About me (growing up)
I am the oldest of a LARGE family (11 children to be exact). Two of my siblings had special needs and have passed away. The other 9 range from age 9 all the way up to me (I bet you thought I was going to tell you how old I was there, huh!). The oldest five all have kiddos so my children have 13 cousins with 2 more on the way. I left the workforce when my second was six months old and I haven't looked back.
About me (now)
I am a mom of three, two boys and a girl, and I am learning to be self-sufficient. We live on one acre, in the middle of a neighborhood, in Arizona (Marana, Arizona to be exact!). I am a work at home mom who used to work in the science industry. To be exact, I worked in an analytical chemistry lab for a major plant chemical company first then environtoxicology for the same company (I am a DORK!). I love numbers, logic, and science so you can expect to find a lot of research and information in my posts. Not everything will work out, but we will have fun trying!
